Which are the better subs in general

Memphis

Eclipse

JL Audio

Tell me which one and why please I am new to car audio. Personally I have only heard memphis and JL Audio but have heard Eclipse is good but out of Memphis and the JLs the JL were better to me.

There all about the same...Eclipse is good for SQ...There are many brands other than these three though...

i personaly would take a memphis LVS over an Eclipse Ti. i like both subs both are great but i've seen 2 memphis mojo's per LVS 15" before and wow that was amazing to see. guy did like a 164 with them in an eclipse.

jl audio and memphis would both smash eclipse especialy the W7 and the LVS

I'd take a JL sub over eclpise anyday, for simple fact that eclipse don't go as low......

but memphis subs, hummm the 4 15s i herad were extremely loud.. but that's basic for 4 15s..... lol

i just say its all personal preference though, listen to as much as u can then buy from there.....
