Which component set is better for the price?

I'm mainly looking for tweeters that are not harsh, & midbass that can be precise and noticeable.

I've been looking at these two component sets and i'm unsure which one is the better deal, I have a better idea of what the Morel components sound like, but not the MB quarts.

Has anybody used either of these sets?

You might want to look @ the ID CTX's n that price range.Image Dynamics CTX-6.5cs (CTX 65 CS) 6.5" CTX Component Speakers The titanium dome on those Quarts might not be what you're looking for. But I haven't heard em, heard the ID's though, they're nice.

can look at the dd set lower end might work for you .i have a set running now ,not too bad sound better the my powerbass 3xl components.and i was told that they handle more power than previous models

Those titanium tweeters are nice but might need a little attenuating. Mid-bass was good for me but i had them in sealed pods. the mb quart set.

I'm going to second this. I'd buy these speakers again in a heartbeat. The tweeters are soft dome tweeters. They also play down to about 2.5 kHz. The mids are also pretty nice mids for the price.

i got mine brand new for $35 off a guy who apparently needed quick cash. I wasnt expecting much...but WOW!! these things are amazing. Very nice midbass and my doors arent even sealed. tweeters are stunning and the mids get pretty loud and maintain clarity! never heard those 2 sets the OP started with but i know i like these way better than alpine type r 6.5s

Maybe the old type r , but the new ones blow those pioneer away.

Those morels are way better than those pioneer, I have heard all current pioneer comps and coaxials and i have yet to be impressed

Out of the two you posted, the Morels hands down.

From the majority I hear pioneer>all? I dunno, I'm mainly concerned about the tweets and I think the pioneers will do better than the morels, & I can get the set for 105 used on amazon, I'm pretty sure I'm going with Pioneer.

Just bought the pioneers. thanks for all the feedback guys. This is my first time buying something full price, so I was really hesitant haha.
