Which box should i use

I am going to be building a box for my dual audioque hdc312s aluminum coil version and i cant deside which box design. They will both be 4cubes tuned to 38hz. What are your opinions on the two look wise and would mounting the subs up and having the port come out the front affect the sound or anything funny? It will be going in a hatchback car.

In a hatchback car the best designs to get loud IMO are subs up/port back and subs up/port up. And with the port coming out the front especially if you have seats it will be a very muffled sound not very loud at all. In a hatch unless your sealing the box off completely from the back I wouldnt recommend doing port forward. I would do sub up/port up or subs up/port back. So design #2
