which box can be much louder?

pls help me, i want to know which one can be much louder dual ported 5 cf @ 38hz or (2) 2.5 cf @ 38hz? my woofer are 2 12L72. i was thinking for dual ported so i can save a little more space.

honestly im not sure which enclosure will be loudest you would have to have them tested, im a big fan 1 big enclosure. Which organization is holding the event?? If your going for spl i would tune your enclosure higher though.

i dont know about you but i wouldnt compete sql with L7s.... not exactly known for their SQid just tune ure boxes up high and go for spl.... but thats just me

is it an IASCA event?? or just a local one?

if i go around 45 hz? do you think that good for compete and also for daily drive? coz i dont want to make a box only for competition then make another box for daily drive.

get some aeroports than you can have one for comps and another for daily there easy to change

i think it just a local comp. i havent seen any IASCA on their flyers.

if tuned to 45 it would not be worth using as a daily driver.imo if going for sql try 35 hz

yeah aeroports are the easiest solution unless your ambitious and build a port plug
