which amps would you choose.please someone with alot of experience.

JL audio xd 600/1 or ARC KS 1000.1.i know arc has more power but lets act like they are bothe the same.then 1st gen jl slash 300/2 or ARC KS 300.2?i just want the highest quality amp with the most tec. and possibly draws the least power from electrical system.i will be pushing a set of jl C5-653 3way with the 2 channel amps and a 12w6v2-d4 with the sub amps.thank you for your time and opinions.and if you can please give details on why you are choosing one over the other.

The JL XD amp is Class-D and will draw less power than the older Class-AB amps. The sound quality is just about the same, if any difference at all. I have heard both the older class AB amps and the newer JL XD amps and honestly can't tell a difference playing through a set of $600+ components.

the slash and arc 600 will be pushing components i was looking At the xd for sub.and from what i understand the arc amps are g/h class.

Only the JL amps with RIPS are power hungry.

It is and its a JL only regulation. On the Slash and HDs. The ARC is normal and since its AB it will not be more effcient, at that power it might not matter

They are but its just like AB with a fancy name. If you look it up they are almost identical

i did but all i could gather was it was as efficient as a D but quality of A/B but dont know.i have just been hearing so many good things about the warm sound and clarity of the arc that i am really interested in them.i have heard from quite a few people that they compare the sound to tube amplifiers at home.you get the digital tech but great sound,but i havent heard them so dont know and was hoping someone had.

They are nice but to say they are more efficent then the XD is wrong. Would you hear the difference? Prob not

Personaly I love slash amps. RIPS is incredable, the power on tap all the time gives you so much headroom. There is nothing like them

there is a ton of headroom.i am running it now.and its at about 70 percent gain and too loud to turn all the way up.amp does get quite warm though but the sound quality at all levels i awesome.i just have a chance to buy the arcs at a really good price.so i will get them and probobley resell them or use them in another system or might use the 300.2 to push 2 8w3 jls to add mid bass.the 6.5 c5s just dont have the kick i want in mid bass i listen to rock and like the sound of a hard kick drum and to get that you need strong mids to add with your sub to get the proper sound.i am getting both amps for a little over 300.
