Which amps have regulated power supplies?

yup, thats what a regulated power supply does. The thing u guys are talking about is more like a regulated output power. The JL 1000/1 might actually have both. All i know is i heard that amp is death to the electrical system.

Yes, the Slash series amps do both. And they can be tough on an electrical system because they are going to get their power even when there isn't enough to go around.

That said, I run 4 pretty inefficient amps (3 of which are Slash series) and a ton of other electronics, and I decided to keep my stock battery and alternator until they crap out before I upgrade. They are both still going strong.

Whats funny is I have always had amplifiers with regelated power supplys.......first I had old precision power (when they were nice), and now.....I'm running 3 zed audio amplifiers......One is a Daconia on my mid and high stage and then I was running 2 miniliths, one per JL Audio 12W6V2, what i have noticed is the ZED Audio amps aren't really as current hungry as the JL Audio amps but at the same time they don't have JL's ".I.P.S. System™ ensures consistent power delivery over a wide range of battery voltages and load impedances." I was going to purchase a 1000/1 and 300/4 but decided to try a amp that I couldn't find any complaints about really....."U can call and speak to Steven himself and ask him any question"......if voltage and current is an issue I would go with ZED.....its cheaper and they are very good amps man......read around. I have those amplfiers in a 2000 nissan maxima with stock alternator and don't get light dims or anything like that. My voltage stays way about 12.5 at idle with the system going fairly high (don't recommend that though), and another this is..........I will give you my system if everyone that knows anything about car audio, doesn't agree that the only way you can solve voltage/current problems is to UPGRADE that alternator......you can help the current but the only real savior is a higher output alternator..........the CANDENCE amps were once built by ZED audio, and even the older US Acoustics Amps............some company don't use them because they simply cost more and / don't get me wrong there are draw back to REGULATED......but thats the case with anything........"What I get from repair places is that JL AUDIO amplifiers are a ***** to repair and hard as hell to work in also"........and I had 1000/1 go out for some reason..........THERE STILL GREAT AMPS......in this world of car audio you find alot of people that stick by there favorite makes........and no mater what happens are going to say this is the best and that is the best, if you mess around in this field you are always going to here impressive stuff.....so don't let people de-ture u from other brands because they haven't heard them........."STAY OPEN MINDED TO ALL MANUFAC--TURES" - and there product........sometimes you will be supprised..../ if your an enthusiast.....you always like to here something NEW

No, I meant amplifiers with regulated power supplies. Most of those amps are capable of outputting the same wattage into any ohm load. I didn't want to get too specific with my requirements.

I'll review this list, thanks!
