Which amps better? Hifonics vs. MB Quart

Both amps were built my maxxsonics, probably would do just about rated power..

flip a coin and take your pic..

I prefer the chassis design on the mb quart though

I like the look of the Hifonics, and it should do slightly more power according the ratings.....

You should be happy with either, and they should preform about the same..... cosmetics and name brand recognition will probably be your deciding factors....

Ok so the SQ should be the same?

Hifonics has always seemed like a "cheapo" brand to me, since everything from them is cheap (as in price, like $35 subs lol) so I've just been skeptical of them

Neither are SQ quality amps. You may could find a used amp in the classifieds with a lot better sound for around the same money. Unless you just have your heart set on the Maxxonics.

Hifonics and MB Quart are both Maxxsonics products. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Ive always had good luck with the old A/D/S PQ10's or 20's for sound quality and loud at the same time. Im my opinion the older A/D/S amps are perfect for what your looking for.

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Perhaps you changed something without mentioning it here? Maybe a loose turn on line? I dunno man...but we'll take it. Hopefully it keeps working. 👍
