Which AMP?

Sup fellas, im new here and i kno just a little about all this car audio stuff.

I am planning out my setup and right now i have 2 12" infiniti reference subs (300W RMS, peak=1200W), and i plan on getting MB quart components (PCE) and the new alpine 9855 deck.

question is....how powerful of an amp do i need? i am leaning toward JL simply cuz its a proven amp/company. i dont want to over OR underpower my subs, so which would you reccommend for my setup? it doesn't have to be JL, i jsut wanna kno how powerful of an amp i need?

I had a pair of the kappa 12.1d's and i used the JBL 1201.1 which is prolly one of my favorite amps..My boy also had the 12.1d and he used the Audiobahn 8002t, more affordable amp.. both of those will work, since i believe that sub is 4 ohms

yeah, the sub is 4 ohms...

what are my choices for JL? someone told me 500/5 is what i need for my setup? does this sound good? im looking mainly for sound quality over loudness.

mtx mxa6001... basically any quality amp that does 300w x 2 @ 4 ohms... or 600w x 1 @ 2 ohms will be fine

this will be okay for the 2 12" subs AND some mb quart components?

no... it's a mono amp... u'll need a big 5-channel if u want one amp for subs that need about 600w total... plus ur components

would a JL 500/5 amp be alright? or will that be a little weak?
