howdy fellas,

i have 2 12" Pioneer ts-w304c subs (300 rms, 600 peak, i think).

what would be some good amps for them?

rite now i'm thinkin bout USAcoustics usx2100 and the Profile Clarus CL1200. I would need 2 USAcoustics amps of that model rite?

anyway, do these amps match my subs and which would be better? Anyone have any better suggestions for under $250? or $200 would be even better.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

thanx,

i know the perfect amp for these subs. my freind has this set-up and it really sounds good with these subs. you want to go with the jbl 600.1 because it can do 300 x 2 @ 2 ohms, its a little underrated so you will easily get enough power for those subs and not only this but it sounds nice!

go to bsless.com and check out the prices i think they were 187 last time i checked!

good luck!

are u sure it's 300 x 2?

unless i read it wrong (which my newbie tail prolly did) i thought it was 300 x 1.

if it is 300 x 1, that means i'd have to wire the subs into the 1 channel rite?

if i did that would i still get 300 rms for each sub?

thanx, (especially for the quick reply and for suggesting something i hadnt thought of)

im running the (2) 12" pioneers through (1) US Acoustics 2100 and it runs them just fine im sure they could handdle more but it will give a 100 watts per channel rms but i mean even if you run more watts to it. It wouldnt make it hot that much harder you problly couldnt even notice it, also i would either suggest you put them in a sealed box or a bandpass box

I agree, a JBL 600.1 would be a good choice for those subs. They are about the best dollar/watt amp on the block right now. They put out what they say plus some, and they're right in your budget.
