That boss amp might do 300 rms. and that won't be very clean. Get the ab amp

Just a single hx2 12 or a crossfire 15, not my system. Cousin wanted my opinion, he got the armor amp from a buddy, I told him to give it away, lol.

Boss is a very low tier amp, there are a plethora of amps that will do much better. You need to match the rms of the sub. Some of us will 'over power' the sub, to created what we will call headroom. Say you have a 300wrms sub, so we would us an amp that can produce 600wrms, that way you are not trying to get more than a particular amp can produce. You can always back down on the gain. You can always back down, you introduce clipping, when you try to get more.
