Which amp?

I have 4 Alpine speakers in my car. Each has a 300w max. What amp would be good and sufficiently power these 4 speakers? Thanks in advance.

what type of alpine are they? Are they subs, comps, coaxial? And what is the rms on them?

They are 6.5" coaxial. The rms is 100w.

As for my budget probably no more than $500.

Now how much better is that Sundown than something like this Alpine MRP-F600? Because there is a bit of a price difference.

I am sure you would be happy with the Alpine too. There are a ton of Class A/B amps that fall into the 100 watts RMS per channel category that will fit your budget!

Now this really shows how little i know about this, but would i need a capacitor for this? Or are they just for high wattage subs?

I have 2 PDX alpine 400.1 , and I would recommend them for several reasons. One, they put out 100 watts RMS regardless of the impedance (no math), and they are bridgeable 200x2 + they are very small and can be mounted anywhere. Go to bestbuy ASAP they are in the midst of discontinuing them (clearance) talk to a manager. I bought 2 for 325.00 + tax. I was happy as S**it, considering MSRP is 499.00 each. You should beable to get one for no more than 250 300, worth every dime!
