which amp?

AQ1200 or AQ2200 to power my 12" RE audio XXX(old version) Will run both amps at 1ohm. aq1200 wont put out enough power but the 2200 will put out to much. Can i safley run the 2200 and just set the gains for 1700ish watts of power. How much can that sub take daily in a sealed 1.5cuft enclosure(thats before driver displacment.

This is the old version of the XXX. i dont think they like over 1700-1800. Not 100% sure tho.

id do the 2200 to leave some headroom on the amp , and not regret not gettin it anyways....
