Which amp would be better?

I was wondering which amp would be a better choice for this sub: the sub is a 12" JL W6v2 D4 sub 400WRMS. I would go with the Orion. since it is stable on 1 ohm.

the sub can only be run at 2 or 8 ohms so 1 ohm would have no gain if you didn't plan on upgrading

That is a backwards question. Do some research on impedance (resistance).

The amp will never see 1 ohm w/ that sub. But, being stable down to 1 ohm gives you more options in the future.

Doesn't look bad. But, that w6 might like a tad more power.
