which amp to pick? ...so confused!

Ok I just bought 2 RE SE10s. I was going to order a power acoustik bamf 5500d. It says it puts out around 3k rms at 1ohm. Then I was told its way over rated and only puts out about 1600 rms at 1ohm. Then I seen a kole 5500 and a SPL 5500 with the same specs for around the same price along with an audiopipe 3000. Do any of these amps actually put out anywhere near 3k rms at 1ohm? If not what is and amp that will for a good price because I want to get an amp big enough to run 2 more subs soon. Thanks for any help.

AP is a forum boner. It may do rated but at what efficiency? LOL you get what you pay for. I ALWAYS recommend getting a quality amp vs a crappy one that may put out more power if the conditions are perfect. The quality amp will usually be more efficient thus sending more power to your subs than the crappy one anyway. Also, the repair costs will be less //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. People on here will tell you that you have to give a sub x amount of watts to "get it moving". That's total bs and they do not know what they are talking about. Just get a quality amp and be done with it.

i have NEVER EVER EVER been disappointed with a rockford fosgate amp. a bit on the pricey side, but on here you might be able to find one for cheap. or maybe on ebay.

Check out the sundown saz-3000d. Also check out the crescendo 3k. There are so many in the $500.00 range it's not funny. Your best bet is to lurk in the classifieds. Also don't be afraid of going below 3k. If you're not chasing tenths on the meter you will not notice a difference between 2k and 3k.

A buddy of mine to me to get a hifonics 2000w. Is that good? And I found the sundown 3000 but it was $1200 that's way outa my price range and I couldn't find the crescendo amp. I think I might get a good 2000w for these 2 then when I get the extra subs get another of the same amp. Any ideas? Will that hifonics work like he said or was he wrong again?

the BRZ 2100d or Hfi2000.1D both do rated power 2100 rms/2000rms

if you can find a used Saz get 1 if not the Hifonics wont disappoint you.

you need to remember tho... you have 2 subs that you do not need 1kw for... they are efficient subs and only need 500 rms to really make em wang... so if you are getting 2 more subs down the road you may wanna rethink what amp/sub combo you get due to Ohm loads...

the 2100D hifonics will give you around 1300 rms at 2 ohm.. ( so dual 2 ohm subs are needed for 2...) then when you buy 2 more DVC2 subs each will get around 525 before accounting for rise and voltage drops..

Well my subs are dual 4 so I was going to run them at 1ohm and I'm goin to just keep the gain about half way when I use it for everyday listening I just want extra watts in case I go to any local competitions and try to shut my buddy up with his audiopipe txx 12s and audiopipe 3000 in a off the shelf center slotted box haha. But I want to make sure I give em what they need and can handle without problems. Ill look out for the saz at a price I can afford if not I might get the hifonics because its the only amp I've seen in my price range that didn't get shut down as soon as I mentioned it haha.
