Ok guys i have 2 mtx 4250d amps and my friend want to trade me for his 2 audiobahn 1300hct amps. Should i keep my Mtx amps or get his 2audiobahn amps

whats so wrong with the audiobahn amps the mtx amp is rated 350 rms at 2 ohms and the audiobahn is 1200 rms at 1 ohm wouldn't u thin the 2 audiobahns 1300hct will be louder than 2 mtx 4250d amps

are the abahns really 1300 watts? What do they do at 2 ohms? I assume you were running the mtx @ 2 ohms.

the audiobahn amps are 1200 watts at 1 ohm and 600 watts at 2 ohms

I would keep the mtx if you want something reliable. Also why does your friend want to trade 2400 watts for 700-800 watts. The bahns probably will be louder but the mtx amps will take a beating. I have had the thunder 280, 420d, and currently 1000D. The 4250d were running two 15s( granted they were pyramid super blues) about 5 years ago in a hatch back. The 4250D also ran some orion xtrs and one e12k in a vt box. All in all I would keep the mtx amps or trade them for something else.
