Which amp to choose?

I wasn't singing the new RUB's praises, but without testing info to back it up, people shouldn't just say **** like, "I heard.."
I do like the DTR's though, but it's a little over budget for him. Although at $240 or so, that DTR 1700 is a heck of a buy.

yeah I know... I've seen a few of the new Rubs clamped.. was barely getting 70-80% of what was listed as RMS.. Seen the DTR clamped was getting right at RMS

At what rise and voltage were the RUB's doing 70-80% though?

I used to run the 3400 and it was doing rated and then some at lower than rated voltage.

Not even sure was last year at one of the car shops here in LC was testing some of the ones they had. Soon as I get a clamp i'm going to test mine out, might have to find a fluke somewhere around here.
