Which AMP to buy that does 1000 Watts at 2 Ohm load?

Check a dealer. But yeah you won't get a very good amp for that price. Go with less power more quality. The difference between 500 and 1000 watts isn't much at all.

I previously had a 350watt RMS sub woofer installed and picked the Pioneer subwoofer for only £25 so it was a bargain and thought there must be some difference between 350 and 1000 however my original AMP would not power it enough as it only gave out 450watts RMS max that is why I am looking for another AMP. None of those local.. Barely even on ebay.. The ones on ebay just about reach 1000 watts RMS at 2 ohms but they do not have 1 ohm stable ones...

What say to this? Are the specifications too high to be true at that price? Every website I am going on is saying the same exact power output for it so it must be true right? 2000watts at 1 ohm? :O

judging from the size of the amp, its overrated.

Thats because you need a properly build custom ported box, that sub does not work well with sealed or small pre-made boxes. Throwing more power at things is not always the best solution to get louder. The box is ALWAYS the best solution to get loud.
