Hi,
Recently bought a Sound Stream P1.1500D but it was faulty and have sent it back.. in search of another AMP that will be able to power my Pioneer TS-W3004SPL sub woofer which is hitting at 1000 watts RMS at 2 Ohms. Peak power is 3000 Watts.
Need an AMP that I will be able to upgrade my sub woofers in the future as well as I do not want to have to buy another AMP again later in the future. Looking for a 1 OHM stable AMP in my case then....Looking for one in the price range of £200, might push a little higher if it is really worth it but dont want to spend more than £200 initially.
Looking at the Kenwood KAC-9106D but I see that is not 1 OHM stable so would be stuck with future upgrades unless I wire subs at 4 ohms.
Also, a quick question to include.. Do I need to upgrade my stock car battery (hope not). I will be running 0 Gauge wiring kit and the car I have is a Golf MK5 1.9 TDI. Do power caps help?
Thanks.
