I'd say Sundown if you can afford it... AQ if you can't afford the Sundown... Planet Audio, Fusion, maxxsonics (MB Quarts, Hifonics, Autotek, Crunch), Audiopipe etc... if you can't afford either of the first two...

planning to run at .5ohm, 2ohm or 8ohm? (please don't say 8ohm)

id say an mbquart over an AQ all day other than that i agree totally. the mbquart is superior to aq in every possible way.

Get an amp that does between 1500 wRMS and 2500 wRMS at your desired impedance. Pretty simple, really.

You sir need to stop posting inacurate responses. DJ "recommends" to try to stay above or at 1ohm strictly for warranty purposes due to certain people not being I guess you can say, misinformed on how to build the correct setup. These amps will not "Burn up" at .5ohm, given you have the electrical to back it up as you would need in any other situation. Ran AQ amps in multiple setups, both the 2200d's and 3500d's. Both at .5 ohm without breaking a sweat. Hell, I've ran the 3500d at .25 before rise without a hitch.
