Power acoustik 2600 watt what gauge of wire should i use?

the manual it comes with says 4 gauge but isn't that not allowing full power for the amp?

And is this a good amp?

ill be running one audioque 15 in sub 1000 continuous power and 2000 peak

Its fine. Follow the manual or you can run 1/0 gauge with a 1/0 to 4 gauge reducer.

if your manual for the sub says 4/8gauge...go with that

AQ is good. The amp is decent. Id just run 1/0 and use a 1/0 to 4 gauge reducer. It gives you head room incase you want to run more power later. Now that Ive only ran 4 gauge I wish I would have done it right the first time.

check some of your locale pawn shops some have kit for about 45 to 50 dollars.i know i can get kits for 40 were i live.

Its just a little reducer thing that allen bolts to the wire so that it has a metal lug on it thats 4 gauge in size.

for your wire, amp sucks but **** nice subwoofer! do 1/0 wire with a 4awg reducer and set your gains right. What PA "2600" amp is it? BAMF, LFA2, OV2, PS2, or...?
