I told my cuzin that my Alpine (300wts) was better than his Pyramid (1200wts)

Which one is better? or at least puts out more power/watts?

lol, i dunno. i think my is better cuz pyramid is garbage. but im new to the whole audio thing

I would go with eh alpine jus tfor the brand name alone. I tend to stay away from cheaper brands because you get what you pay for, IMO.ITs like buying a dell/gateway/hp computer compared to a cheap walmart one

computers are a bad analogy.... Dell/Gateway/HP use shitty components but back up their claims with warranties and customer service from india. In fact with computers home-builts are far higher quality then the Dell/Gateway/HP crowd...

Yes, you are correct... your alpine probably puts out 300+ watts of clean power. His is probably making 300watts of pure crap....
