which amp is best?

I have a friend with 2 roadmaster 10" subs and needs an amp. what would be a decent amp that would give it some beats? i believe they are 700 watts total. he also isn't willing to spend much money

first get you slang right lol. its "give it some beat". get a pioneer 760 from walmart, but i dont know anything so dont take my word for it

What is the voice coil configuration?

And is that 700 total, the RMS or peak power (Im guessing peak?)....

And most important, whats he willing to spend?

good chance those subs came from walmart. you'll be staright with a good 300 watt rms amp, maybe 400watt rms amp. not going to lie to him man, the subs are not the most desent subs and if you sent too much power to them they'll blow quickly... never go by an amps "peak" wattage rateing. it's all "rms" wattage rateing. best bet is to shop online if he doesnt mind wating 2 weeks for a package off ebay. all depends on his budget..... also find out the voice coil configuration.
