OP, I spent about $320 on a USED 2000w amplifier. To get 3000w out of your budget, you're definitely not going to get anything worthwhile brand new. In fact, it's gonna be hard to find a decent product that'll put out a clean 3K at 300. If I were you, I'd either save up a bit longer or reconsider the power you want to run.

That being said, $300 for a 3,000w amplifier is kind of a scary budget. So, my next question is this: have you actually spent the money for an electrical system to actually support a 3,000w amp? Power wire? Batteries? Alternator?

Also considering that you're running a hifonics amp now. Which is power hungry and not very efficient. So I doubt your seeing 2 k now maybe closer to 1500 or less sending on the system as a whole

Yep, I definitely agree. I think a used DD M2A would go for around his price. One just sold on here for $350. Super nice amps, 1600 watts continuous @ 12v. Up to 3000 @ 14.4...
