Which Amp for 2 hdc312's

I have in total 4 hdc315's, 2 that are brand new that will end up in the for sale section and 2 crunch gp3000d's, 1 that i'm using and 1 that will be for sale.

Keeping my tahoe but i'm getting a dodge charger soon. I wanna do 2 hdc312's instead of 15's because the trunk is better suited for 12's unless I do some fiberglass work that i don't want to get into. Nothing against the crunch gp3000d pro but in my charger I want to do an all aq setup, amps, components and subs.

The crunch pushed my hdc3's very well but i'm looking to run more power because its harder to get loud in a trunk than a suv. Should I go with 1 aq3500d or 2 aq2200d's. I know the 15's could handle 2 2200ds but can the 12's? The subs will be the copper version.

Shouldn't be a power handling difference as its the same sub...

Go with the 3500 as you probably won't notice the difference between 4400 and 3500.

Go with the 3500 as you probably won't notice the difference between 4400 and 3500.

gah no replies guess i'll go with the 3500, save 100 dollars and a easier install. your right i wouldn't notice the extra 900 watts, this is for a daily driver.

i wouldn't use the AQ amps... i would look into AB 400.1 RD 9.0 atomic 5000.1 for starters... much better designs.. the AQ amps are cheap for a reason... the AQ 2200 dowan't put out as much as my RD 1750 both @ 1.6 ohm..

Go with the 3500 And run it at .5ohms.

yea with 20% distortion... i can get near double out the RD 1750 with 15 volts cranked to the max... let me see some edvidence..

i got good deals on the RD stuff and its good stuff... the AQ boards are pretty cheap boards off the shelf parts... open it up and tell me what mosfets they use...

Well tbh, I had 2 AQ 2200's strapped @ 2 ohms, and my single Sundown 3000D puts it to shame.

Just a direct swap got noticeably louder.

untill you get some test results i won't believe those figures... the amps aren;t bad but i wouldn't go cheap, whats the dampining factor? how is the s/n weighted? 2200@ 14.4 with 1% THD.. no board pics? nothing really specific.. generally a amp designed to do more power @ higher voltages its a very linear design. IE as voltage drops off output drops off fast... 3400 @ 16 with 10% THD huh? i bet i can get close to that with a 1750... **** near the same board as the 1750..
