Which Alternator do you guys recommend?

Hi, I have a 98 Z28 camaro and I am currently setting up my system. I will have 3 amplifiers, all Precision Power, one is a PC2300 which will power 4 6.5 components, and a PC2400 which will also power 4 6.5 components, and a PCX-1500 which will power my subs. I am planning on adding another battery on the trunk and hook it up in parallel to my current battery, but once my car is on, my alternator is going to be working overtime, so which alternator do you guys recommend, whith how many Amps and which brand etc?

Also, do the batteries have to be of the same type and brand? I have an Optima red top and it was expensive so I was thinking about just getting a regular Die-Hard battery to connect in parallel with the Optima, should it be OK, or is it dangerous?

I just went to a local alt shop and they rebuilt mine for about $160. Ohio Generator does pretty good though I hear if you really want to purchase another one. As far as the batteries go, If you go with an HO alt., you don't really need an extra battery unless you bump a lot with the car off.

I was interested in maybe 250 Amps or more maybe. Anyone know where to get one this high?
