Even if I can return the Db within 2 weeks and get a refund. 1 year warranty, more amperage, and cheaper. Is something wrong with these alts?

Mechman, would not waste my time with the DB Electrical, buddy of mine had one on his 02 Crown Vic, was ok at first, then just pretty much crapped out on him.

Afraid that year has been passed lol...but he had that alt and had a 2600 Hifonics pushing (2) Cerwin Vega Stroker 15s, with a extra battery did fine.

Decided to upgrade to a RD Audio D9 on a pair of FI BTL 15s, added more batteries and the alternator still could not matain the voltage. It took a dual alt kit from Mechman, plus another 200amp model from them along with the DB Electral to matain a steady 14.4 at idle, and after that lowest he would drop was 13.9 on music.

With just the DB alt, he was dropping in the low 11s. I was considering them myself for a while, before I found out the issues he was having.
