Which Alpine Deck?

I have a budget of about $200-$300. I like the more expensive LCD displays and a tilt feature would work great for my car. However, I am not an audiophile and would like simple controls. I was looking at the 9835 but will it be too much for my needs? For example, I'm fine with simple treble/bass controls.

a 9883 would work well for you....but the 9835 is a bad *** deck.....but it is complicated to set-up

9835 FTW

you can actually go to alpine's website and create your own "ipersonalize" profile and then load it from a CD you create on the computer. It will then pre-adjust most settings and you just have to fine tune it to your ear.

what are the main differences between those two decks, my alpine h/u was recently stolen but I loved it so Im looking to replace, I still have the ipod cable too
