their all in the same league, i would go with us amps though, awesome build quality their.

Even with only 75 X 4 when some of the other put out over 100 X 4. You dont think the extra power would make the others more attractive?

Thx for the reply by the way.

get the one that is within your budget, the aesthetics you like an features you want. i personally would go with the eclipse amps as i love black heatsink, the top mounted controls and being a full range class d amp, will save your electrical.

Squeak's post (like #3) on here thread basically sums your decision up. Its comparing two different amps, but the criteria are same (power, distortion, noise floor, etc.) If the decision were mine I would take the US Amps first and the Eclipse second. Its hard to justify $120 extra bucks IMO.

I have the Xa-4000 although not installed yet, running two sets of memphis MCSQ 6.5" components. I am also using the XA-1000 to power my L7. I have heard these amps are excellent, i am moving from an Alpinr MRP-F450 and MRP-M650 to the eclipse amps.

I will let you know as soon as I get the amps installed!

Very good post enzo, it helped me alot. I currently have a Power Acoustik TS960:

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6196.html

I got it becausse it looked like a clean decently powered amp and it was only 120 dollars brand new. I'd say that it works pretty nice with my speakers although i only had an older sony 75X4 to base that on. I was just kind of thinking that something of "better quality" would make a big difference although it probably sounds just fine.

Im going to probably buy 2 amps and see if i hear a difference. If i dont hear a noticable difference, i'll just sell the two. I'll wait to decide on which two until i hear your feedback boostdfoci on the eclipse.

By the way enzo, your XT1600.4, how do you like it? I was just about to buy a brand new one for about 175.00 on ebay last week.

If you are really considering the eclipse, may also want to consider the sundown as you can go active with just the amp.

Nevermind...that doesn't really suit your app at all unless you run the fronts active and the rears off your HU

What MB Quarts do you have up front? How much power is recommended for them?

Given the fact that the US Amps is actually one of the cheaper ones listed there, I'd probably go with that. If the fronts will be good with 75-100W, definitely, the US Amps IMO.

I've also got the new Eclipse XA4000 sitting in the garage, we'll see how it goes.

Either that or the US amps, depends on which approach you want to take. I wouldn't buy the newer SS stuff.

The Soundstream has good specs on paper. But Something about soundstream and made in china kinda keeps me away. Other than that the US amps will be your best bet. Great Sound, Raw power and great build quality.

Did I mention I have the exact same amp NEW for sale?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
