yes, even tighter, the only thing is that you just cant touch the cone whne the sub is up to temperature, the alumnium get a little soft (does not affect performance) and it will dent if touched

well any aluminum cone or titanium cone, regardless your dont usually play with the cone while the sub is playing do you? but the SQ is very impressive and the accuracy and speed is very cool to watch, espically when you listening to something with really fast transitional bass

so you think i should go for the eclipse aluminum subs, for my price range and everything? what about amp power? which one would you recommend for the 12" and the 15"?

by the way, thanks for all of the quick replies!!!!

I reccomend them because, one I am biased, but I became biased towards them because of their performance, two the step up in quality to eclipse will make a difference and I think you will like it, three they have a great track record and are very durable, but the only difference in getting the 15 will be the slight gain in SPL, but you will not really losq any SQ, one fo the best all around subs out there, I have 4 10's my self //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif but no prob I am in class and so lost I am just posting on here

www.eclipse-web.com but they dont sell stuff from the site, but there is some seriously impressive equipment on there, the new DVD in dash screen just came out

Originally posted by coolman91985 which amp should i run one 12" aluminum eclipse with? can i run it with a 4 channel and also run my component speakers off it?
you could but I never reccomend that, a dedicated subs amp is much needed, espically if you want ot get the most out of that sub
