so im gonna try going from a 1 15 set up to 2 12s. so far ive looked getting either 2 aqhd3s if i can find them,2 hdc3s,re sx's,bl's,or maybe just try two sdcs. off maybe either an audiopipe 3000 ground pounder 3k or just go back with the aq 2200d

Two 12s wil have more cone area than a single 15. Hows that a downgrade?

If you can feed them enough power, the HDC3s should be extremely loud. Perhaps not as musical as some alternative setups could be but thats a lot to be said.

HDCs, LVL 4 XLs, B/Ls, or some DD 3512s would all make for an amazing setup.

ya more cone area and will handle the power better and longer, also depending on the sub but still. two 12s is def not a down grade...also on this im looking fora decent budget for the two 12s which is y im not sure if i wanna go with 2 hdc3 12s cuz i could prolly get something alittle less and should take the power fine cuz 2 of the hdc3s should take that power no problem

i had a level 4 15 in there and i made that thing smell all the time and it was barely clipping lol, i liked my hdc3 much better. i was thinking an 18 but then i prolly have to build in the trunk, also i was debating on 3 10s just to try something different since ive never had 10s

u would have to modify it for sure but not build in trunk. im doing a level 5 18 in mine on 7k. but 12s i would go with those hdcs with about 16 inches of port per cube. sub port foward. make the box come to that little lip where the trunk starts. and foam up the sides of the box to the car and make it good and sealed. also try not to make ur port L out too far becuz if one sub is loading off the port wall and the other is loading off the back wall u will have cancelation issues,

recone your 15 to a 12 and get another 12" HDC. The new copper coils will do quite well off 3kw. 4.5cubes net and tune 35-38.

Or get another amp and recone to alum coils...

you have too much power for the SDC's for daily. Could dial back the amp and then run it full tilt for metering....
