do u mean recone? refurbish is when a company fixes an item and replaces w/e parts are broken then sells it again.

I'd say contact MTX through their website, or go to a authorized seller shop - (not Circuitcity) and ask them what to do. I don't think you'll get the answer you want from CC and most likely they will just try to sell you a new one instead.
