i have 2 pioneer premiers 10" 350 watt rms subs under my seat in my 06 dodge ram quad cab and one jl 10" in the middle of the back seat i am wanting to upgrade to a system to where you get that one feeling in your chest when your in like a deep bass car. my question is if i could get one 10" ALPINE SWX-1042D TYPE X SUBS at 1000 watt rms and get that or should i get two of them and put them in my truck bed with a big ported box, and i have a bed cover so it doesnt matter. will the single 10" alpine mess with like your lungs or should i do the truck bed idea?

Well first of all, if you put subs in the bed of your truck you'd have to do a blow through, which requires cutting up your truck.. I don't think you want that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Second, it's not usually the best idea to mix and match subs.

If you can tell us how much room you're willing to give up, maybe some people can help you out more. How big of a box can you fit in your truck?
