where to put subs.......

i drive a 90 camaro and im getting a new sub (probably an ss rlp12), after i sell my 2000spl's btw, but i was thinking of building a box to go in the dip and was wondering if i would hear a difference by putting the sub on one side w/an amp rack on the other side.....will i be able to hear a diff (like the subs comin from 1 side of the car)i dont think i could fit the 12 in the middle by the way i want to install it. so my question is for those of you with 1 sub setups, and ur sub on one side of the car/truck/suv, are you able to hear a difference?i think if i could hear it form 1 side of the car it would annoy me.thanks for any help/advice/suggestions.

no i dont matter where you put it in relation to your amp rack.

i know that, i was wondering if i could hear a difference in the sub being on 1 side of the car vs. being in the middle.

Subs are omnidirectional so it doesn't matter...
