where to put my speakers?

hey i just got soe 5.25" infinitys and they dont fit in my front doors so i was thinking cant i just run them off my amp in 2 little boxes in teh back of my expedition or would it sound shittay they would be gettin 100x2 max i think off a cheap audiobahn

How much room do you need to make them fit..1/2", 3/4"? Use whatever size wood you need to make a baffle and space the speaker out. Just make sure its not so much that it hits the door panels.
