Where to pull signal from for sub. 08 volvo xc90

Hey all,

I'm working on an 08 volvo. It has a factory amp. I would like to ad an amp and sub to the rear cargo area. The battery is right there so that's easy. I'm just not sure whether to pull my signal from the rear speakers with a line converter or to try to grab a pre-amp signal at the factory amplifier. If I do grab from factory amp do I need left and right for a single sub?

Any advise appreciated

I'd just use a quality loc off the rear speaker leads ...that always works for me
