hey, I've been working on a custom box for my '99 eclipse, and the box is almost done, but now i need to drill the holes for the subwoofers. I was wondering where they should be placed? (I know in the center vertically, but I'm not too sure where horizontally?) Anyway, they are 2 10" alpine type-r's, and the total length of my piece of wood is 34.5". It's sealed, so there is a piece of wood in the middle. Well, anyway, thanks for your help!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

thank you very much for all of your help!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Raptor... how much airspace did you use behind each sub, and which model Alpine Type-R's are they? 1021D or the 1041D?

Your setup sounds identical to the one I'm building for my 1998 Mustang GT. The box width is practically the same! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

hmmm, its kind of awkward shape, it fits right behind my seats and is close to 1.1 ft.^3 per chamber (2 chambers) and theyre 1021D's becuz i got the M500, so i needed the 2 ohm subs for the power to match up;) what about you? what's your setup?
