Guys...bare with me here..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I `m in the process of mounting an amp, and I was wondering if it`s any problem if i mount the amp upside down..What i mean is i want to mount it on the rear deck of my car, there should be any deent amount of ventilation there. ideas whre to mount it are welcome, i judt don`t want it on the box.I`know of people who put them under driver/passsenger seat, but i don`t know? Any ideas!

ya, it will be fine, its not like its a person thats gonna pass out from hanging upside down. You could evan hang it from the roof of your car if you wanted:)

kinda depends on how much power you are pushing with it. You aren't going to get any cooling with it being upside down.

Just keep checking it to see if it gets hot. If it does then you may have to rig up a PC fan to try and circulate some air over it.

Yeah..i know what you mean..anyway the amp is a Memphis 16 MCA-2004, so i think i shouldn`t have too much problems with cooling issues.

ive mounted amps under the seat before just make sure there is adequate clearance for some aire to get under there but here are some general pros and cons

Pros: Short wires and patch cords required. Generally a stealthy install

Cons: Only very small amps fit here. Closer to some common noise sources.
