Where to mount amp?

I just finished building my new box. I want to mount my amp, to my back seat but I heard that sometimes they come off with the vibrations. I know mounting to the box is a bad thing to do. I was trying to mount it on my side wall but my amp is too large to fit there. The only other way I can do is to put it in the spare tire compartment but then it won't be able to breath and the 0 gauge will tilt the enclose a bit. I tried searching on google but I can't find real answers. I heard I can put rubber washers type things to mount it on the box, but not really sure what to do. I have 2" before it hits the top and my amp is 2" and maybe 5/8 so I can't build a false wall.

What kind of car? Shouldn't be an issue mounting to the back of the seat. There's a fastener for everything lol

I just took a small piece of MDF and mounted the amp to that, used screws just long enough to poke out the back of the MDF maybe 1/4 of an inch so it doesn't slide around while driving.
