Well my activation period is coming up and I need an activation code. Microsoft wants $200 for XP. Anywhere I can buy just the code? All I use this particular PC for is the internet and I just need a copy of XP home edition.

i know around here college students can get xp pro (32&64bit) and M$ office for $20 each from the bookstore on campus. limit one per student per enrollment i believe.

Like, legit software stores. For instances you can go into Walmart and buy software so I'm assuming they are legit. I don't want to just fork over cash to some online company I never heard of.

i dont know if you're going to college but you if you are or know someone who is go to the campus bookstore you can get a legit copy of windows dirt cheap.
