lately i have bought a few carbide tiped bits off ebay, i always by 2 at a time and stil 1/2 the price of the others and have not had a problem with the first one yet , probably have 40+ speaker holes on the 1/4 spiral, still cuts like butter, just do it in 2 passes, i just did 1 1/2 (2 3/4 laminated) in 3 passes - perfect in less than a minute.
