Specifically looking for router bits to cut out speaker holes. Gonna pick up the jasper jig sets, and figured i should get some nice flush trim bits while im at it.

I think i need a 1/4" bit to work with the jasper jig dimensions, so if anyone could point me in the direction of some good bits, please do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Home depot, Freud Diablos are the shit and cut like butter! and yes for jasper u need the 1/4 sprial upcut bit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They are a bit pricey from 10-35bux a bit but well worth it never have to replace and have lifetime warranty..

Bosch are real nice as well. (now really end thread. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif )

Spiral Up-cut is correct. Will cut a bit dirty, but quicker and less heat due to removal of material from cut.... just do a pass with some sandpaper lightly to clean up. Bought a Bosch Spiral Up-cut and it is night and day compared to a straight edge.....

Mine dont cut "dirty" Mine cuts clean but i dont plunge straight thru the whole 3/4 in 1 pass i do 2 pass's so the bit dont dull and get a cleaner cut. Might be the bit you use but the freud bits from home depot kick ***.

That Diablo is the one I got. Just bought my router and Jasper Jig combo pack. Cant wait to start cutting some circles.
Good choice i got same one cuts like butter! just do 2 pass's dont plunge the whole but and cut circles in 1 pass youll just dull the blade quicker

I second the MLCS bits. Good quality and great prices and free shipping! Bosch and Makita are good too, but usually expensive. I haven't tried the Diablo bits, but they look good too.
