when they lose their charge. It happens.. excessive heat, etc. If that's what you mean.

Sorry I didnt write that very clear... I just didnt know how often they had to be charged or what will cause it to need to be...

oh yea, excessive heat from overpowering can cause it over time. That one guy who competes with the single ddz sub ( forgot his name ) has had to recharge his several times.

unsure on the recharging often thing.. I would think if you didn't hugely overpower them.. it wouldn't hardly ever be a problem.

I have issues with dc, I'm not a fan of them at all.. ran 24 lvl 2 15s in my astro.. couldn't even ask about being on the team.. never got replies all the times I did, I was told by some people it was because I bought used and not from DC directly.. which sounded like bull. Said to hell with them at that point and sold the level 2s off for super cheap ( think it was 65ish each ).. so i'm looking for alternatives lol.

TC Sounds produces neo motors. They may be able to do it for you. I doubt many people have the machinery to do this at all.

Plan to give it different softparts later on though, I want a full dustcap like older RE subs have.. and maybe a tall roll surround if I can find one for it.

I was thinking of checking with nick or jacob as well, I heard nick can but I am unsure on cost again..
