Where to get.......Cheap PROPANE TANK

Anybody know where to get a cheap propane tank MORE than 20lb. I have a garage heater that needs anywhere from a 40-100lb. tank. I have checked ebay and there isnt to much....would a junk yard sell something like this used??? any other suggestions would be great.

Lowes sells a 100lb tank for 89 dollars. Then just have it filled.

I think my heating company also sells different sizes, have you tried calling your local propane company?

Ours installed big *** tanks for our condo complex but they sell all sizes maybe even have some used ones in decent condition?

You might also want to look up Blue Rhino, they are the company that does the tank exchange. I have only seen 20 gallon grill tanks with them but they may work with other places that do bigger tanks etc.

thats what menards charges... I need more than 20lb though... Ok ok... is the grill tank considered a 20lb. tank, or a 40 lb. tank. I think those are the empty/filled weights, but is that called a 40lb. tank, or a 20lb. tank???
