Where to get CCF?

You can also get adhesive weather strip foam for small trouble spots.
This. I bought 2 rolls from lowes ($3 each, 10' rolls) and I've been using it everywhere. This stuff works wonders. So far I've used it on my rear windshield, on my door panels, around my speaker adapters to seal them, and even on my doors themselves to seal it up a bit.

I suggest picking up a roll or two from lowes/hd and just see if that works for you. If it doesn't, $6 isnt a huge waste.

you can always find a use for weatherstripping foam. it comes in open cell an closed cell forms. closed cell varies based on hardness. all vary in width and thickness. i always keep plenty on hand. in fact, i'll probably replenish my supply today - gotta hit up Menards.

I honestly didn't think it would work as well as it did. Best

Weatherstripping is certainly useful. There are good cheap sources of bulk CCF, particularly if you aren't trying to bond them to something difficult like vinyl. Be careful with the super cheap stuff though. Volara is more like Styrofoam than a usefully resilient decoupler. Dropping a lit match on it is a frightening experience. The standard for use in vehicles is pretty low - the material can burn when in direct contact with flame but must extinguish itself after a few seconds when the flame is removed. It also cant drop flaming whizzers while it burns. Products like Volara don't come close on either count.
