Where to get a SOLID dash install kit?

im trying to find a good dash install kit for my chevy avalanche. The one i have now is 100% plastic except for the HU cage, and theres nowhere on it to screw anything down. It clips in place, and the cage clips into the dash kit. The main issue is i have CD skipping issues, and they arent gonna get any better with two 18's.

I think im gonna get some wood and build one, and give a whirl at fiberglassing, but at the same time, i want a plan B lol

The back of the deck doesn't have any type of support? Mine has a rubber "tit" on the back of the deck that goes into a mount in the dash. (sure it doesn't line up like it should with the new deck, but it gives me a way to secure it in the back)

backstrap the unit with the kit to the dash. pretty simple really
