thats what i am gonna do is just piut ring terminals on each end of the wire and then put a washer on top and washer on bottom and put a bolt through the washers and terminals and tighten them down and then put heatshrink over it

yep i think the ring terminal and securing them with a bolt and nuts and washers would work better as long as its a tight connection

just about anything would works well if you're careful about how you go about it. Though the only reason i want to use the ring terminals because i already have about 10 of them

ah well i used the copper pipe method when doing the big three in my xterra chasis to engine to bat - all one run worked well i even melted down bunch of solder with a gun like kove was talking about and got a bunch in there to make a really secure connection then smashed it down with a punch and a hammer
