Where to Dampen... and why

The question is what area first(assuming I only end up doing one at a time instead of a shotgun of the entire thing).
I know what to do with the product, just trying to get an idea of the most crucial area to cover before all others.
Get the hatch first. so less impact on your hatchback

If you got enough money, remove the amp, remove the carpet, and dampen to the metal

i'd remove your trim panels to get underneath and apply the dampening there
That's what I was thinking too after hearing all of this. Was also thinking the rear soundbar(can see it in one of the pics with the CD case sitting on top of it) because it's just covered by a small plastic cover and that I could imagine that shit rattling pretty bad with the right music on.

Yeah, the entire back is coming out. Got this enclosure coming, so I figured it'd be best to dampen the entire back end when I rip out the trunk carpet before I put it in.

i know you don't wanna spend mula on sound deadener, but you'll thank me later when you made this choice because you will still have rattles, but can you imagine how much more rattles you would have gotten without the deadening.

Look where your subs are firing, then follow the next logical step and....

I find it hard to believe you honestly don't know what area will be most important to SD. You drunk?

Which choice?
I'm probably going to do the entire trunk area first. I just don't want to spend needless moola on crap deadener in the wrong places first.
Don't be fooled by the people on here who use the %100 coverage/multi-layer rule. You can achieve the same results with the right location and good product

lol no. I knew all of this shit 10 years ago, but I've just started to get back into the car audio scene and remembering little things now. It's more of what I think I remember combined with what everyone says which is helping me remember a lot from long ago //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
