hey smarty pants, lets see how that csx performs in an everyday driver. most of us dont have dedicated SPL vehicles. the ssx or 9500 series are much better choices. i can clearly see why this site is no longer respected.

its not a woofer designed to be musical, used everyday, or for anything other than playing a single tone with as much power behind it as you can afford. it isnt their top of the line, its a specialty woofer. their ssx is their flagship model. i am not as a newb as some would like to think, i have been around this site for well over four years. i just returned to see if it had changed for the better, only to find that it is continually becoming full of bad information, jackasses, and just plain ignorance.

I have a few CSXs right now, one is in my car right now on a 2500d. Its not the best sounding woofer I have ever heard for music but it plays better than my Power Acoustik Mofo, RE MT, and IDSPL. I think the only sub that i had that sounded better musically is an H2. I know the subs I had in the past werent the best to compare to cause they are mostly SPL too but this sub really is not the worst. Also it gets crazy loud. The Treo van on there website broke some world records and was in the 170's. I know theres louder but thats still pretty sick if you ask me.

but by calling it garbage you make yourself look like a complete idiot.

they are far from optimum in daily installs, but they will still work.

as far as spl installs, they are amazingly capable woofers.

but by calling them garbage because they arent great daily woofers? nowhere in the thread did anyone even ask how they perform in a given situation.

Ya the H2 is true garbage, lol. The CSX isn't garbage just useless for daily. The SSX is a great sub and mine is currently on around 4800+ daily.
