Where to buy birch wood

I am about to start my build but can't find good birch anywhere around me. If anyone has some advice on where to look let me know. I have found the birch at home Depot but people say it's not great. If anyone knows somewhere in lower Houston let me know I will be taking a trip to Houston soon

I've gotten it from Home Depot and Lowes, sometimes I have to look through a few sheets to get one I like but I never had problems with what I've bought so far.

Do a google search in your local area....and lumber stores too. I would stay away from big chain home improvement centers such as HD and Lowes. They tend to get mass amounts of lumber for buildrs and not worry so much about quality over the little guys at local lumber stores.

Most towns have a decent lumber yard within 30 miles and thier prices are better than big box stores. But I just grabbed 3 sheets of 11 ply birch for my cavalier from home depot and it wasn't any worse except the price.

Here in the Midwest, literally any hardware store that sells wood has birch plywood.

I've heard in other regions of the country, it's harder to come by.

I don't think you'd have a problem using Home Depot's birch
