i am having a difficult time finding Cd Players with the same hook ups that a 2000 ford taurus has..How would i find a cd player that will hook up in mine?
you just need a Kit and harness for the car. that may be one of the kits that comes with the harness, if it is the round dash then the kit is a bit pricy.
I Have A dash,And you can take the cd player out of the dash tp put in another one,But I Cant FInd One that will hook up to the kinda hook up's i;ve got.I need one that has Rca Inputs in them ..the one inthere now dont.any idea?
check Crutchfield for the proper wiring harness and you should be able to put almost anything in there. If you tell us EXACTLY what you are trying to do, we can give you some more info.
yea man you need a wiring harness (about $5) that is made for the correct vehicle and year, this will allow you to hook up a single din aftermarket head unit to your stock wiring. you will probably need a dash kit as well (like $15) which will make your new head unit fit flush with everything.
i would recommend a pioneer head unit...easy to use and good quality
I have a dash kit and wire harness, everything you need to put a headunit in. Its for sale if you want it. Ill even include the keys to take the stock radio out. PM me it interested.
To the OP, all of the stereo connections are in the trunk at the factory tuner box.
If you are hooking up an amp (i think thats what I got from your post) then you will either hook up a line level there or get the $80 dash kit/wire harness to install a deck to get the RCA outs.
